Scholarships! - You can help a child learn to sail.

KWCSC offers sailing instruction for students (ages 5 to 17) during Youth Summer Sailing Camp. There are ten, one week sessions, running Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm every summer. The classes cover all skill levels, from the basics of sailing to racing.
In prior years many children have successfully completed this program and benefited from the experience. However, there are many less fortunate children who can not attend the program.
With this in mind, the Sailing Center has a Scholarship Program for summer youth sailing. The purpose of this scholarship program is to provide children in our community, who otherwise would not be able to afford sailing, to have the opportunity to learn and practice.
Each scholarship of $250 will pay for one student to attend a one week (5 days) session. Scholarships will be awarded to children from the Key West Boys and Girls Club as well as children from Wesley House and Take Stock in Children.
The Center is contributing ten scholarships to children from those organizations. We would like to be able to offer 25 scholarships. A contribution from you would enable us to do that.
Please consider donating a scholarship for a deserving child. If you can’t donate an entire scholarship, any level of contribution will be appreciated.
We are a recognized tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the current Internal Revenue Code, which makes your donation tax-deductible.

If you would like to consider a scholarship donation for our summer youth program of $250.00 or any amount. Simply pay online here! You can donate one or more just add to quantity if you want to give more than one scholarship.
